Hey there, my name is Reign!
I’m the founder of Reigning Reptile Rescue — a lifelong animal lover with a deep-rooted passion for reptiles.
I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my life since I was a small kid and started keeping reptiles over the recent years, but what has really drawn me in most is the care: the husbandry, the habitat building, and the deep satisfaction that comes from creating safe, enriching environments that mirror the natural needs of these animals that we so often neglect. My goal has never been just to house them — it’s been to help them thrive and live long healthy lives.
In 2025, what began as a personal passion project turned into something much bigger. I started taking in surrendered reptiles one by one — animals who needed more than just a place to stay. Many came from situations where proper care just wasn’t being provided, often due to a lack of knowledge or resources. As I nursed each animal back to health, something clicked: this is what I’m meant to be doing.
Reigning Reptile Rescue was born from that purpose.
Now, through this rescue, my goal is to continue growing & learning as a reptile keeper and to continue helping more animals in need. I want to serve not just the reptiles and amphibians that come through my doors, but also the people in our community — by offering education, resources, and support to help others become confident, passionate, informed reptile keepers.
At Reigning Reptile Rescue, we take in surrendered and sometimes neglected reptiles and amphibians, provide veterinary care when needed, proper lighting and heating, individualized diets, and recovery space. Once healthy and thriving, we adopt them out into forever homes that are prepared to give them what they need. We don’t stop at adoption, though — we’re here to help you succeed with your new pet, offering ongoing education and resources, and even helping adopters build out enriching and beautiful enclosure for their new animals.
This rescue was created out of passion and a desire for purpose — and every animal that comes through it matters.
